How it works

A full scientific calculator in your browser: sine, cosine and tangent (in degrees or radians) and their inverses, natural and decimal logarithms, powers, square roots, factorials, π and e. Expressions follow the usual order of operations and can use brackets. Switch between DEG and RAD with one click.

Calculations run locally in your browser. Results are for information only — for engineering, electrical or financial decisions, verify the assumptions and applicable standards.

Frequently asked questions

Should I use degrees or radians?

Use DEG for angles in degrees (sin 30 = 0.5) and RAD for radians (sin(π/6) = 0.5). The current mode is shown on the display.

What is the difference between log and ln?

log is the base-10 logarithm (log 100 = 2), ln is the natural logarithm with base e ≈ 2.71828 (ln e = 1).
